Ministry of Clouds, Riesling 2022

Ditching a corporate life in 2012 to follow what they love, partners Bernice Ong and Julian Forwood have been producing some of the most exciting organic wine in Australia since starting-up Ministry of Clouds. Asked if it was a risk worth taking, the pair sum it up quite nicely: "Our hands get dirty, our backs sore and our hearts full." Riesling 2022 is taken from two vineyards in South Australia's Clare Valley. It's a delicate wine for the region, exhibiting lifted floral notes, kaffir lime, freshly squeezed lemon juice, grapefruit peel, and underlying rose petal aromas. Classic citrus notes are complimented by the mouth-watering chalky and mineral texture on the palate, finishing with a fine and taut finish.
